This Privacy Policy provides general information about the processing of personal data of website visitors and clients using the services of Fire Protection Solutions. It has been prepared on the basis of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (GDPR).
§ 1. Data controller

§ 2. Purposes, legal bases and retention periods
The controller processes personal data for the following purposes:
- Contact and handling enquiries – under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (the controller's legitimate interest). Data (e.g. name, surname, email, phone number) is processed in order to answer enquiries sent through the form or by email. It is kept for as long as handling the enquiry requires.
- Delivery of fire safety engineering services (including fire safety manuals, CFD simulations, audits and fire protection reports) – under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (necessary for performance of a contract). Data is processed for the duration of the contract and until claims arising from it become time-barred.
- Compliance with legal obligations (accounting, tax) – under Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR. Data is kept for the period required by generally applicable law (usually 5 years from the end of the calendar year in which the tax payment deadline fell).
§ 3. Recipients of personal data
To operate the site and deliver fire safety services, the controller uses external providers. Data may be shared with:
- the accounting office serving the controller;
- hosting and email service providers;
- providers of business and engineering project management software;
- state authorities (e.g. the tax office) where required by applicable law.
The controller entrusts data only to entities that guarantee the appropriate data protection and security measures required by law.
§ 4. Rights of data subjects
Under the GDPR every User has:
- the right to access their data and obtain a copy of it;
- the right to rectify (correct) their data;
- the right to erasure (where there is no basis for continued processing);
- the right to restrict processing;
- the right to data portability;
- the right to object to processing based on the controller's legitimate interest.
Users also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority — the President of the Polish Personal Data Protection Office (PUODO) — if they believe their data is being processed unlawfully.
§ 5. Data security
The controller applies appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect the personal data processed, proportionate to the risks and the categories of data concerned. In particular, data is protected against disclosure to unauthorised persons, removal by an unauthorised person, processing in breach of applicable law, and alteration, loss, damage or destruction (including through the use of SSL certificates on the site).
§ 6. Cookies and tracking technologies
The website automatically collects only the information contained in cookies. They serve the correct operation of the site as well as statistical and analytical purposes. Detailed rules on the use and management of cookies are described in a separate document: the Cookie Policy.
§ 7. Final provisions
The controller reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy. Changes may follow from developments in web technology, changes in generally applicable law, and the evolution of the fire safety engineering services provided. Users will be informed of any changes in a visible and comprehensible manner on this page.
